Hi,
Just stumbled on this forum and I must say it's been a great find.

I'm a beginner-intermediate player. Have restarting playing again after an almost 10 year break. Been using my old Carbonex 7 and 8, and now planning to purchase a new racket. Unfortunately, the models out in the market is really confusing and too many.

I like an all rounder racket and from reviews and comments, the Car20 seemed to fit the bill. Saw the Carb20 Special @ S$85 @ Parkway with Gosen string. Not familair with the Ti or MP series though. Wanted to go down to Queenway to scout around but thanks to this forum, I'll head for Bras Basah complex instead.

Any comments on the Carb20 Special or other recommendations to fit my budget of <S$100 ? I want to restrict to only Yonex rackets.

thx

Hey raptor. Welcome to the forum!

One concern about the Carb20 is that it is rated as a stiff racquet. If you are not used to having very little flex from the shaft, it could take quite a while for you to adjust.

I wouldnt suggest getting a Carbonex 20 mainly because there are loads of rackets that are better for $100 - under!
I would suggest getting a MusclePower 21 its perfect for round about players!!
