Maybe you can go to this places and have a look.... Have a nice day!!! modious 06-02-2003, 06:06 AM Originally posted by Stevick Hi all, may I noe where can I find BG-88Ti, and a good stringer here in Singapore? All advices are deeply appreciated. BG 88Ti can't be found in S'pore yet. 10 & 10 in Bras Basah sometimes bring in stuff from Japan though (Japan strings, shirts, shorts, etc). As for stringing of rackets, Music Book Room (Bras Basah), Kemin Sports (Beauty World Plaza), Safra Toa Payoh and the sports shop at Jurong East Sports Hall are good IMO. Queensway do not have the strings and also don't have SHB series shoes. The rackets there are also expensive. The best place to get badminton stuff is from Bras Basah Complex. Stevick 06-02-2003, 08:53 AM Thanks again Modious, but Safra Toa Payoh string them at good price too? modious 06-02-2003, 09:11 PM The prices charged by the shops are similar. Also depends if you're a regular or new customer. Stevick 06-02-2003, 09:13 PM Originally posted by modious The prices charged by the shops are similar. Usually it's about $18. $15 is considered cheap. $12+ for regulars. legal strike 06-02-2003, 09:23 PM there's a shop in tampines sport hall too i think own by chinese player, anybody tried their stringing? modious 06-02-2003, 09:31 PM Originally posted by legal strike there's a shop in tampines sport hall too i think own by chinese player, anybody tried their stringing? Are you talking about the new shop in TSH? I've not tried that before. But if you're talking about the Sintec shop which shifted out to the building opp the road, their stringing is pretty decent. legal strike 06-02-2003, 10:51 PM it's inside tsh itself i think the shop name "flymax" or something like that, having promotion now, 2nd racquet string at 50% discount on all type of string Merquis 06-03-2003, 02:39 PM Originally posted by legal strike there's a shop in tampines sport hall too i think own by chinese player, anybody tried their stringing? Yup, the shop name is Flymax. I strung my MP 90 at their shop before, tension at 27/26 I can only say their stringing is not bad. But i would rather you go and try the Sintec shop which move to Telepark. Also for your info regarding the 50% off for the second racquet restring, the Sintec Shop also has this promotion. Stevick 06-04-2003, 09:30 AM Guys, where can I find Black Yonex thermal bags? Went ard, all I can find r blue, maroon, etc...... kameha2 06-04-2003, 11:16 AM modius, can you tell me where could i strung my racquet with bg68ti for 12 bucks? please specify the shop name. modious 06-04-2003, 11:20 AM Originally posted by kameha2 modius, can you tell me where could i strung my racquet with bg68ti for 12 bucks? please specify the shop name. You have to be a regular (string there for years). You can't just walk in the shop and demand $12. It won't work. I can't specify the shop name...... otherwise everyone will start asking them why they're charging $15-$18 while I'm getting it for $12. kameha2 06-04-2003, 11:29 AM hmmm it means it's not 12 bucks. if you really get the price at 12 bucks, share with us, what is the benefit you get by keeping the shop name for yourself? modious 06-04-2003, 11:39 AM It's in Bras Basah and it's not Music Book Room. Go figure. And pls read my message clearly. I said you can't get it at that price if you're not a regular customer there. If you don't know what I meant, suit yourself. |
