Jen e-mailed me yesterday night telling me Lees now carry JP strings: BG88Ti, Cyber Natural 100, and BG75-Ti however, she did not give me a price.

hahaa, i'd never let them string my racquet ever again.... probably cuz of bad experiences....
one time, i hit drops and lifts for 10 minutes after picking up a freshly strung racquet (bg-70 at 22lbs) and it snapped...
another time, after picking up my racquet, a huge paint chip was found.... and when it was looked at more closely, a minor crack.... (fortunately, it wasn't my favourite racquet anyway..)
i've known of a few more incidents like mine....
not to discourage any of you..... you're free to do whatever you want...

I'd definitely compare their prices before heading to their stores! These strings are expensive but worth every penny of it!

i dont think it's worth it. dont tell me that strings will help to improve your game? i would rather concentrate on how to improve my skill to the top level.

Hmmmmm, for me they will. For example, I and perhaps many other people will play like crud when you got some bad, frayed, loose strings whereas I play alot better with strings I feel comfortable: BG80 and BG88Ti. Strings are an essential part of the racquet however only to a certain point. I personally feel that as long as any strings aren't frayed or loose, you should be able to play fine.
On another note, Jen said 24.00 a pack without stringing service and 28.00 for with.

Thx yodums... i was planning to go but got sidetracked. :o
$28 is a bit cheaper than Yo's ($33).
TOmike, it's more than 10 min if you're not driving there.
Winning, Yo's and Lee's pretty much always has the same price for stringing... otherwise we'd all go to one and not the other.

I still haven't got a chance to visit "Winning Sports". Last time I was there, there was a note saying "for immediate customer only, no browsing". How am I suppose to know if I am their immediate customer if I don't go in and browse around?
Oh well, in this case, since Lee's is $5 cheaper than Yo's, I'll just go for it instead of going all the way to Scarborough.
