Hi all,

I was looking at my friend's new AT700 racket yesterday. It was a US version. But I think that there is JP version for AT700. So is my friend's racket fake???

only JP version for AT700? where do you get that idea from?

that is definitely not true. there will be US/CD/SP/whatever versions of the AT700, just like any other Yonex racket.

You are right, Kwun.

I have seen AT-700 BX version and I can buy it right now.
Like Marcel who has bought BX version.

I think he's talking about compare to AT700 TW (US$115), AT700 US (US$190+) is overpriced.

I think US $115 is cheap.
In Benelux (Belbium, Nederland and Luxemburg), the cheapest price that I can find is about 112 euro frame only.

Yikes !! can anyone tell me where exactly in the USA is someone selling the armortec for 115 USD ? I don't care if it's the TW version or the US version. Even if they don't have a website a phone number for the store would be really helpful.

Reenignelivic,
You can't find any official Yonex's web-sites have an information about Armortec. Just Japan Yonex web-site has it. I don't know why:confused:

Also the newest catalog of Yonex (I mean with Armortec) is hard to find. Just a couple countries have it.
It is the marketing strategy ?

My supplier told me that the AT700sp will arrive HK in July. So, it is no doubt having US/TW and other version now.

Well, I don't like the AT-700....... it looks weird....and when I tried it in the store....it feels weird.....

Even the store owner told me that she doesn't think the AT-700 will be as good as the MP99/100 racquets.....well....

It is priced 4000NT in Taiwan now.....(about 115USD).....
(and of course it's a brand new, with warranty card, and more....)

I think I'd rather get another MP99 instead of the AT700.....

Errr... "bluejeff" metioned US$115 for AT700TW is the price in taiwan. In US, most AT700 (regardless code) are generally $180+.

If u really can find AT700 (brand new) for US$115 in us market, that will surely be a good deal. However, if u buy from someone u don't know (i.e. ebay), be careful and try to make sure it's not "fake".
