Looking for Singles Sparring Partners in Singapore

I'm male 33 trying to learn the singles game.
My current standard is pretty decent.
Can beat many players in my group but I'm still not good enough to beat better or more competitive players.
Tend to lose to players who are fit and move well on court.
Just need more exposure to different types of players.
I hope I can get 3-4 players to spar with once a week.
Its hard to find social groups that play singles.

No problem if u mind also! I know how frustrating it is to play with players with levels way below yourself! haha!!

But then again, I think it's not that easy to find players who can match your skill leh!!

I hope to try and book courts at either Jurong East, Gombak or Delta.
Which days do you guys prefer? Wed, Thur or Fri?
I can only play 7pm onwards.
I'll pay for the courts but you guys need to help bring some shuttles.
I'll bring a tube as well.

If we play on weekends, I'm free Saturday afternoons from 1pm onwards.
But at night, I'll be playing at Jurong East with my other group.

Wed, Thu. Delta hall is the best of all if you can manage to book. I can also play from 7pm onwards. Need to work to financially support this game. :D

Since we are playing mostly singles, will 1 court for 2 hours be sufficient?

Day/Date: Saturday 4 October 2003
Time: 1 pm to 3 pm

But I'll have to impose a limit of 4 players at most, cos' we only have 1 court for 2 hours.
Right now, there's only me... :D

NB. Couldn't get weekdays evenings even though I was at my computer at 7am this morning to do the online booking! Sigh! :(

U need to be at the Booking Centre at 5.45am to be the first in line. The clerk usually comes in at 6.45am and get her to key in your data first . At 7.00am....Bom you got your choice court.
Internet Booking always lags behind.

Hi everyone.

We currently have a core group of 4 players (aged 20-33) playing once a week in the Western side of Singapore.
Each of us happen to also belong to some other group/club.
But we just formed this group to get together and play as a refreshing change from our regular group/club sessions.

We don't have a fixed place or day where we play.
We'll just play wherever and whenever we can get a court.
That's the fun part!
So we'll get to play at places like Delta, Jurong East, Gombak, Clementi etc.
We usually try to get courts for Wed, Thur evenings or Sat afternoons.

Our main objective is to have fun playing this wonderful sport and make friends along the way. No betting, no training, no monthly subscription fees, just pure fun and laughter...

Currently looking for 1 or 2 more players.
If you are between beginner to intermediate level and don't mind playing singles and doubles, please PM me and I will provide you with our egroup's web address.
