The video was shot using Sony's 3CCD VX2000DV cam. I'll burn the complete videos of all the final matches onto DVD shortly. Should be available by October.

its not technically DVD quality since it's only 320 x 240. Heck, i'ts not even TV quality. Also, it's not mpeg 2. And the bitstream is only 700 bps.

Btw, why is the audio stereo when the source was mono? I think you can save some bandwidth (about 32kbits/sec, 5%) if you switch it to mono.

you mean it won't be DVD quality if the tape is recorded direct to DVD? 3CCD should give excellent quality. Better than TV.

The sample online is not DVD quality. It's just a short clip of what was recorded. The actual DVD will be recorded in full DV mode with no compression.

I think stereo captures the atmosphere better and makes the matches fun
to watch. The hits e.g. smashes, sound constipated in mono videos.
