Whats a good stringing tension for Ti-5 for someone that wants powerful smashes?, or what color string would look sick on the Ti-5?

depends, if the racket is red then chose something like red, or if you have the blue version choose white or something.

Sorry, can't help with the string tension.

tension depends on your strength too,if it is not propotional,u will not get any power, have u ever seen when girls playing with those basic racket, why they can hit the shuttle to a considerably far distance t othe other side ?it is because their power and low tension seems a good combination but the shuttle will fly slowly, what u can do is to consult the stringer when i try to hit the shuttle in a court....my stinger test out my strenth and sting my racket accordingly...if the shop does not have a court,i dun knw how u can do it but i string it at a club...

On 2nd thoughts, i think the red racket would go better with black strings

But the Ti-5 isn't that red. the MP100 is more red...

Is the Ti5 good compared to the Ti6? Anyway, as for colors of strings for the Ti5, i think a darker color would look better since the racquet is lighter in color...

imho. color should be the last thing one should be worried about when choosing a racket.

Agree! But I gotta admit that I'd rather see that my racquets looked as good as the Ti-7, for instance... If only Yonex would clean up that messy typography it would look perfect.

I have to differ with you Mag - I think the Ti-7 (and most of Yonex's Ti line for that matter) are pretty unattractive, with just some shade of gray as the main color and little patches of dark gray titanium and graphite exposed. I will agree that the Ti-7's decals are a bit on the busy side. However, the finish on the racquet is subjective, just like art is subjective, so there is no right or wrong opinion.

I just like to think that my opinion is a little more right. ;)
