Hi, Im Going To Hong Kong on Dec.17.03 for 2 weeks ......where are some places that inter-beginners like my self can play?

Drop by La Salle School on Mon & Wed at 6:00 PM. There will be lots of players there :). J/K Inter-beginners level? Cheung, do you have any idea?

Do a search for "Jazz". That will give an alternate place. He's made a couple of BFer's welcome in the past.

Very few beginners at Lasalle on Mon/Wed. Don't know about the sessions there on the other days.

red00ecstrat Err, it's a club, so that's why we turn up. Is that the answer you are looking for? There are other sessions on other days in the same venue but with different groups of people.

Visitors can play, bad luck if you were a visitor last night though. A whole load of people who I didn't recognise turned up. I waited 30mins out of 2 hours at one point for a game:(

1) Is it a special club where you need membership
2) Can you just turn up and play?
3) What's the cost
4) Lastly do they have parking facilities?
5) How many people play normally?
6) how many courts are there?

Sorry for the questions but I'm very keen to join.

i see. are they all La Salle students?

Yes, it is a club where all pay membership.

Usually, guests are invited by a member.

I think Pete's post gave the impression that the nights are like an open house, just drop by and play - that is not the case (or rather few people do that, if at all).

Are there any places to play in Hong Kong where you don't need to bring a partner for pick up games? I will be visiting in the middle of November. I am an intermediate player.
