Chen and Gao look so relaxed and natural together. Great pic, where did you find that?

It's hard to think that those two are superstars in their respective fields from looking at that picture!

good picture. Their non badminton look :) very natural. Maybe he just happen to wear a Kason shirt. I mean they have to wear other clothes right, besides wearing just ALL YONEX all the time 24hrs a day...

Kason sponsors at least the Chinese junior team. a lot of local tournaments in China which the pros plays in are also sponsored by Kason. in some of these competitions, they can only wear Kason apparel and use Kason rackets!

as a result, i am not surprised Chen Hong is wearing Kason. and to be honest, that shirt looks pretty smart!

Hmmm... without their badminton gear on, and if you ignore the "Kason" mark, they look like two totally ordinary people. They don't even look that athletic to me :D. Which reminds me, although it's a bit off topic, I've always found it interesting how different the players at my club look if I happen to see them in their regular civillian, non-badminton, clothes. I'm always just used to seeing them in athletic or badminton wear .

I've a chance to see some sweet moments b/w them in HK Open - Gao gave support to Chen when he loose to Bao, and Chen congraduated Gao when she won the Women Doubles final. It just made people jealous. :)

yup.. i saw two of them in Singapore Open 03. Chen Hong gave Gao Ling a hug when he just finished the match with Ronald Susilo while Gao was waiting for her match to start. Gao pushes Chen away and says ...**yuck**!! But Chen purposely used his sweat to disturb Gao... :)

Thats funny. :) It is great to have a person that enjoys the same passion who support you by yourside. No wonder Chen Hong keeps winning. Extra Boost!

There were many people I recognise in the audience and on court(!). On finals day, I am am quite tired and after the games finsihed, I have to go to a wedding (yes, I dressed up to go to a wedding and went to HK Open dressed up:))

When at the wedding, I recognise the girl receiving guests. But I just cannot remember from where before though I am familiar enough to talk to her. Then I found out she is my old work colleague after asking her:o. I didn't recognise her becuase she is wearing nice clothes and make up (looks much prettier!) instead of her uniform at work.

Kwun, not only that Kason sponsors state team etc. I am lucky to get a Fujian state
training top - kason top.

funny how we rarely see badminton players in their civvies. Makes a big difference to theirt image and gives them personality. You see it in all sports and I think it helps other sports image by doing so, it would be nice to see it more in badminton.

My first reaction to the picture was that Kwun posted a honeymoon picture from Janet and himself. But then I thought that the guy just looked toooo familiar.

Oh. It was actually posted a few days ago in General Forum, so I thought it was a new post. Then it was removed and placed in the Pro's Forum, a bit confusing.

wow. they look really normal. like as in, they look more relaxed. during matches, they are always so serious. but i never thought that chen hong and gao were together or would get together i always had that conception that gao ling was with zhang jun and chen hong was married. :o

wow!! they are very compatible and yes, they look natural in that photo talen together. i like the way Gao Ling manages a smile whenever she plays matches despite the tension amidst the competition (how did she do that?) and Chen Hong's calm and confident composure during tournament.
Both of them look friendly too.
3 cheers for them!!

Kim Hakkyun is married, too.
He is responsible for WS in the Korean national squad.
Ye ZI is also married and has got a daughter.
They are still good friends.
