I've been searching on the forum for these racquets and it's just not too helpful for me.

I'm currently using a MP-77, strung with bg-68ti and realized that it's a very powerful racquet with it being head heavy, great for smashing. The bad thing is the defence of this racquet and drop shots. Control took alittle while to get used to also. It improved my back hand alot, but still the over head clears is kinda slow, cuz the racquet is a little heavy, from that....i end up hitting a high floater. drops are also the same, but i think that may be from the tension and the type of string i'm using.

From reading all the threads, it seems to me that the 100 is alittle lighter, but less power as the 77 and the 99 is more of a control racquet? And for the 88?? any suggestions?

Well, i'm trying to find one that would fit my needs. I was thinking of keeping this racquet as a 2nd for the MP100. Would anyone suggest the Ti-8 or 10??
i hope i'm clear and any comments would help.
thanks.

For my own opinions:

If you make the MP-77 to be the standard of the rackets:

Control: MP99 = MP88 > MP100 = MP77
Power: MP100 > MP99 = MP77 > MP88
Feels: MP99 > MP88 > MP100 = MP77
Stiffness: MP100 = MP99 > MP77 > MP88
Easyness to get used to: MP88 > MP99 > MP77 > MP100

(MP100,99,77 in 3U and 88 in 4U in comparison above)

I don't know about Ti8 or 10 since I don't have them.

Could also try the reviews section for different views on these rackets

I have and use the MP88, great for defense as well as generating power, good overall racquet.

I also have a Ti-8, which has been discontinued, I feel I can generate more power with the MP-88 however, but better control with the MP88.

i agree with you wickeddrop, i was thinking about the 88 for it's defence, but i was kind of worried about the power loss. I haven't found much reviews on the mp88. thanks.

Honestly, control-wise i don't worry too much, because i can just adjust to it, but for power, i think it'll be alittle harder to make up for. That's just my way of thinking tho.

i don't think power is too much of a concern..with all of the muscle power rackets, power should easily be generated with correct technique. I'm not saying that the mp88 generates more power than the 100..i'm just saying with all rackets, power can be generated. remember that power is not everything, angle of attack is just as good in some situations.

i have some same situation with you faion.. im confuse to chose between ti 10 2U n mp 100 2U. i already order ti 10 2U G5 but i doubt its easy to use.. coz i read some of bf people said mp 100 is easier than ti 10..

They are both considered hard to get use to but it can be different for all people. Switching from Mp88 to Mp100 or Ti-10 will be very different. IMO MP's are very hard to get used to, compared to Ti's.

thanks brave.. my ti 10 2U G5 come this sunday.. when i try my mp 88 i feell its light, less power.. but after 2 weeks its going better.. the power of smash and defense so good. and i think i need back up raquet so i chose ti 10 or mp 100 coz i read these raquet have alot of power, and i fell comfort with head weight raquet. before i chose ti 10, my back up raquet is ti 7
