Just wanted to know ur opinions...cos my bro bought me that racquet 1-2 months ago..and i was wondering whether its good. I stopped playing badminton and just recently started to play again, so i was wondering whether my racquet is any good. Comments and views will be much appreciated! :)

Hmmm... I think it's more a personal preference issue. Player A likes a racket, does not mean player B or C or D will like it, too. Works the same way the other way around.

Also, "good / bad" is just way too general, which part u referring to? Such as: Power? Control? Durability? Overall performance? Price vs quality ratio, etc...

Also, to what standard? Some ppl might say, 7/10 is in "good" range. The others might say, 8/10 is just so-so.

To me, you, the user is the one should have the most accurate evaluation (but only to urself) for the racket. I won't be surprised to see different replies might have 180' opposite reviews on the same model.

it depends, i've had a bad experience with the grapower series of gosen. i broke my friend's grapower 330ti by hitting the bird on the frame. and i didn't swing that hard either.

the titan or the aermet series are great, i currently own a 5300 aermet and i love, plus its durable.

Yeah sorry..i meant to be more specific.

I wanted to know its overall performance which includes the power, control and durability. Basically the whole works.

I would also like to know its standard and how it is fared compared to the other racquets.

Unfortunately for me as i have mentioned earlier i just picked up a badminton racquet after 3-4 years and im very outdated now with the equipment and all.

The reason why i chose gosen over yonex, wilson etc..is because i like the weight. It makes me feel more secure and that i have a firm and proper grip on the racquet so it doesnt fall out of my hands or gets flinged out if i jump smash (i just attempted that a few days ago..). I have also tried my brother's racquet which is a yonex (but im not sure what model it is) and i don't like the feel of it at all compared to my gosen racquet. Also, another reason why i like the weight is becos since i do play tennis occasionally, the weight of a tennis racquet is heavier than a badminton racquet. Thus, i feel more comfortable with a heavier racquet, which in this case is a gosen becos it strangely reminds me of the weight of my tennis racquet except its lighter!!

Btw..im an absolute beginner in badminton but a hardcore fan! So thanks alot for ur help!

I see. But how much difference is there with the 330Ti compared to the 700Ti?

Oh..i see. I am currently a beginner in badminton and i would like a racquet which will last me for at least 2-3 years, have a bit of weight and not be too light AND for it to be durable of course.

Thanks alot of your comments and views shiriblue! :)

i guess the difference between the two rackets is a few years. the 330ti was a defensive racket. i'm not too sure about the 700ti. the frame looks pretty thick, but i'm not sure if gosen made any structural improvements on the grapowers.

i have a 3u g5 5300. personally i feel its somewhat on the light side, but it gives alot of power. and i've also hit it on a piece of metal (playing badminton at work inside the proshop) and the paint didnt even chip, not even a scratch either. so pretty durable from my point of view.
