View Full Version : Fleet Badminton Racquets
c4r80n 11-13-2003, 09:54 PM hey all,
my 1 month old mp33 just broke from a serious racquet clash with some idiot who loves to cross boundaries... well newayz, im only 15 and my parents dont really support me playing baddy as they say i should be focusing on my marks. my budget is up to 120 CAD and a new mp33 with strings would cost me bout 160.
my club called lee's recommended some fleet racquets and i was wondering if anyone has any and if you could tell me if they are good or not.
thx
LazyBuddy 11-13-2003, 10:02 PM A little bit off topic. Wondering if you have any interests in SOTX rackets. Personally, I think it has good price vs quality ratio.
c4r80n 11-13-2003, 10:06 PM ive heard of SOTX though i live in Ontario, Canada and I've never seen one for sale or played with around here...if you can tell me a store nearby i could go check it out.
LazyBuddy 11-13-2003, 10:26 PM Hmmm... Winex West Can is the dealer, but he's in Van...
I am not sure if there's another authorized dealer in your area or not.
G'day.
Over here plenty of people use Fleet rackets and from what I have seen so far they are excellent rackets with great performance and good prices. I have strung many Fleet Smashpower rackets such as 3000, 4000, 5000, 5500 and they all seem to be very solid and deflect very little even strung up to 25+lbs. They are light (most fleet I have come across are 3U), powerful and reasonably priced and its design resembled the Yonex Aerotus / Carlton Aerogear range.
Good choice if you are looking for a non-mainstream racket.
quagmire 11-14-2003, 01:58 AM heard fleet is the official racket of the philippine badminton team.
Side1021 11-14-2003, 02:16 AM lees...Woodbine and HWY 7? I just went there today to return my cracked racquet. It's good to see a dealer who is willing to send my racquet back to Yonex Ca.
UkPlayer 11-14-2003, 07:33 AM heard good things about Fleet rackets

coz usually fleet rackets are like yonex clones, i have a nano.s 7999 and armorace 810 offensive. The Nano.s 7999 is juz ok but the armorace 810 juz doesnt feel nice when i play , so i have it to my dad. I do use my Nano.s 7999 as a warmup racket. For the price i paying is worth it though, RM179 for 2 rackets. How much did u get urs?
asriwn 01-29-2006, 09:40 PM But my armorace 810 crack when string at 25-26Ibs? How about you?

my armorace racket is still fine bought it during october last yr, my dad is using it now. i can see a few clash marks on the frame but no cracks. mine was strung at 23lbs. i suggest u get the nano.s 7999, its a real good racket for the price, survived a couple of heavy clashes but i think its gonna crack soon.
asriwn 02-03-2006, 09:13 PM I'm already have nano.s 7999,8000 and 8999.
jas1121 02-15-2006, 05:38 AM I'm already have nano.s 7999,8000 and 8999.
1. so how do u find the nano.s 7999? any comments?
2. is the nano.s 8000 same as the 7999?
3. which is ur favourite racket among all of them and y?
i may need to buy another 1 soon as i think i may have to buy another 1 coz i had a few clash on the racket. i onli use it as a warm up and spare racket though but i really like tat racket.
Munchie03 08-19-2006, 09:42 PM Hi, My girlfriend gave me a tk-900 tank power fleet racket, does anyone know any thing about this racket? or a site that I could look it up on? I am having a hard time finding info on it. I am currently using the top power fleet racket, and really like it, but I have a hard smash and I find that the shaft is to flexable
