I know this subject was brought up before but i can't seem to find it right now so I'll post this question again. I would appreciate it if someone could please tell me where some badminton stores are in Hong Kong(specific locations would help too ie. behind the big Macy's).

PS The exact rackets I'm looking for right now are the aerotus 110 and slim 10. The most I will probably pay for each would be $1800-$2000HK combined.

Hi Eric,

Those racquet stores are all over Hong Kong. Racquets in Hong Kong are half the price of what you pay in the U.S. and Canada. Below you will find a sample list of retail sporting goods store. The list is by no means complete. It only shows stores' name under the Alphabet, A. Please check out www.yp.com.hk for a complete listing. First type in sporting goods in the "search" section and then choose "sporting goods-retailers." You shouldn't have any problem.

Of course, don't forget to buy several spools of BG-85 or BG-95 from Hong Kong!!! Once again, the price for badminton items should half in Hong Kong compared to North America.

Top of the line shuttlecocks should be about $14-$15 Canadian per dozen for a box of 50 dozens (non-Yonex).

If you plan to travel to mainland China, you might take advantage of super deals on tournament grade shuttlecocks. At $7-$8 Canadian per dozen for a box of 50 dozens you can't find a better price anywhere. Mind you these are no-name brand. However, they are the same quality as the brand name one except for the missing brand sticker!

1.000 US Dollar = 1.558 CDN Dollar

1.000 US Dollar = 7.788 HK Dollar

Hope this helps. :D

I along with a few others were looking at the website http://www.digitmall.com/sportbadminton.htm

The Aerotus 110 is still available along with the Slim 10, at a really good price too.

There's no such thing as an obselete racquet.

Well, right now I have a cousin thats on a trip to Hong Kong (why couldn't she tell me she was going earlier...gr...). I manage to get her some addresses to check whiles she's there, hopefully she can find my rackets.

PS If you guys want I can also ask her to try to find some rackets for you guys.

Eric, you can refer to my previous post at http://www.badmintonforum.com/forums/read.php?f=2&i=7390&t=7389 for some suggestions.

There is one recommended shop added to the list :

Star Sports
Shop 76, 2/F, New Town, Nam Fung Centre
Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong
Tel : 2411 1650

While they have limited stocks displayed, you can ask them to get most Yonex racquets (including CN, 3U version imported from Taiwan, etc.). There is also a brand new Yonex Boron-2 there, but they don't sell it (unless you are willing to pay HK$5,000). It is a racquet sponsored by Yonex to the shop owner many years ago (he represented HK in 1992 Olympic and had entered into Men Singles final 16).

There are many shops which sell badminton racquets in Hong Kong, but these are shops I recommend so far.

Finally, both Aerotus 110 and Slim 10 are still available in some shops.
