The more recent tournaments and players have displayed a tremendously high level of professional badminton. For some of us, it will always be a step above us, for others, its a targeted level to aim for.

In all sports, top sports men and women have their ups and downs in their carriers like Tiger Woods who completely flopped in recent tournaments and came out on top of the Masters ahead of Duval and Mickelson.

In Badminton, i find that Taufik Hidayat is the player to watch. Though hes had his problems with the PBSI and his temper. I believe him to be a world champion in the future like the old legions like Liem Swee King (INA)

I read some news which said that Taufik is on date recently, thus spent less time in training. He said that he will equip him again and try to get good results in coming tournaments.

he's only 20, and he was top seed in olympics, he still has a high chance to grab the gold in athens, and to become world champion 2 or 3 times if he trains hard. he has the talent for it.

I think in terms of talent he ranks as the best or one among the best.

I think Peter Gade is equally talented. The biggest think that is in his favour is his age.

I hope he does not burn out. Great player and one of the first to execute a backcourt backhand smash at an important game and that too at the higgest level.

The player to watch in the future. He is a falliable genius.

Backhand smash? Wasn't that Fleming Delfs?
