ALPHA Excel II Overgrip

Any one tried this grip? How's the feeling, durability compare to Yonex Supergrap (A440)?

According to Badminton Alley's review, seems it's more like a "poor man's Yonex Super grap". However, if I can share this 60pc bucket with 2 other friends, we can save a lot of money. Each one of us will get 20pc for US$15-16. If we spend the same on Yonex A440, we might just end up 3 packs (9 pieces).

tried it. will not touch it again. feels pretty ok on first day, but deteriorates pretty quickly. the initial tackiness goes dull really quickly and starts to get slippery. worst is upon trying to remove it, it leaves horrible residue on the racket that is impossible to remove. don't even try to get close to it.

it is just that bad.

Thanks a lot for the information. Guess I should just show my friends about this thread, and let them know, "sometimes, a little bit more $$$ means less nightmare later on."

sometimes going the cheap route isn't the best route. not all grips are made equal. i have grips that costs me US$6 *each*, but they lasted and feels good for more than a year. imho, that's a better value than getting a whole box of 60 grips for US$15 that will only causes grief...

Well, the good part is, the red "left outs" really matches with the MP100 - pure red dragon now. :D
