Here's a pic of Winex's clone of Yonex AT700. Winex chose to call theirs Armanetic Ti and specs are similar to Yonex. The Winex 700 Ti comes in 5 colour schemes (red, blue, apple green, yellow and yellow/black).

Winex is trying to make badminton racket like fashion now. also touting high tension capable seems to be the trend now. wickeddrop 12-07-2003, 02:44 PM any idea on pricing? Hahah...you should see some of the models geared towards the female players. For example, Pink Lady or My Fair Lady which are new colour schemes of existing models. Winex West Can 12-07-2003, 03:02 PM Originally posted by wickeddrop any idea on pricing? I would expect pricing to be comparable to the AT700 (i.e. Winex MM100 is priced competively to the MP100 at a ratio of 1.5 : 1) meaning around 50% below Yonex's pricing. NOTE:Don't quote me on this. bigredlemon 12-07-2003, 03:29 PM don't you mean yonex is priced 50% above winex? If winex was 50% below yonex then that would be a 2:1 ratio... ants 12-07-2003, 06:22 PM Winex is more creative than yonex interms of colors. I wonder why yonex don't want to come out with their own different colorways. cooler 12-07-2003, 06:26 PM Originally posted by ants Winex is more creative than yonex interms of colors. No one company can covers all the color palatte out there. It's infinite. Winex West Can 12-07-2003, 07:19 PM Hopefully I will be able to get my hands on one pretty soon to compare with the AT700 (JP version) which belongs to a friend (who, coincidently, couldn't care for the AT700). You will noticed that the 701 has two colours (yellow or yellow/black). Personally I like the blue version and apparently that was quite a popular colour. I'll check it out next week, while i look for a new pair of court shoes to purchase.. crazy_smasher 12-19-2003, 02:34 AM Hi bigredlemon, Which tool do you use to create such cool effects ?:D i mean apart from your own skills i mean. i wonder why Winex never tried to used something like Adamantium Ti Kevlar series (hmm, unbreakable hmmm :D !!! - never need to worry about clashes - nobody will want to play doubles with you then) Those Armanetic rackets sounds like they are magnetic in nature, shuttles should stick to it. Maybe they should look like something with more repulsion ;) Yipom 12-26-2003, 06:01 PM Does anyone Know what is the Price of this Racket in CAD$??? thx bigredlemon 12-27-2003, 02:47 AM Originally posted by crazy_smasher Hi bigredlemon, Which tool do you use to create such cool effects ?:D i mean apart from your own skills i mean. It should be around $80 cheaper than the Yonex's (I think). Winex West Can 12-29-2003, 07:07 PM For those of you who managed to get down to Tad's to check out the new Armanetic racquets, do you have any feedback? I'm told that this is currently the fastest selling Winex model by Winex HQ. Yipom 12-30-2003, 03:38 PM I checked Tad's Prince they're Selling it for $170 CAD ~.~.... might as well get another Yonex Racquet Yipom 12-30-2003, 03:38 PM It seems like Tad's Over Price some of their Products Winex West Can 12-30-2003, 04:35 PM The Yonex Armortec 700 is listed on Courtside Sports at CAD$240 and CAD$265 at Lee's so pricing it at $170 is not too bad ($70 to $95 cheaper). cappy75 01-01-2004, 03:33 AM Hey WWC, Could you tell me other alternative outlets around Vancouver that carry your racquets? I went to Tad's and wasn't really impressed with their badminton stock selection. Ming Winex West Can 01-13-2004, 07:40 PM Originally posted by cappy75 Hey WWC, Could you tell me other alternative outlets around Vancouver that carry your racquets? I went to Tad's and wasn't really impressed with their badminton stock selection. Ming Hi Ming (Cappy), Sorry for the late post. Saw it on New Year's Day but didn't get an opp. to post a reply. Tad's is the only retailer in Vancouver to carry the Winex line of products. I just noticed that the Australian Winex retailer priced the Winex Armanetic 700 at AUD$210 which is just over CAD$200. cappy75 01-13-2004, 08:03 PM Thanks WWC, Your response is better late than never... I had a chance to check out the Winex Armanetic, not bad... It's really unfortunate that there's not many specialised retailers that carry different brands. For the badminton population of its size, Vancouver doesn't seem to have the kind of selection afforded to other major North American cities like Toronto. Ming shotokan 01-14-2004, 08:18 AM Today I 'm receive Winex armortx 700 A .You know that the correct . I'm say winex armortx 700 A . In Thailand It has two version of Winex armortx 700. 1.Winex armortx 700 A 2.Winex armortx 700 ti The difference is 700 ti . It's the real Titanium add into the recket and 700 A don't have it. I think Winex armortx 700 ti = Winex armanetic 700 ti .With ti the racket can do the higher tension than normal. See my pictures below. I'm very impression about Winex at-700. Great control and flex. :D another one it's lower price than yonex at-700 about 50% .. shotokan 01-14-2004, 08:22 AM head picture shotokan 01-14-2004, 08:27 AM grip above Winex at-700 below Winex Mighty Power 102 ca |
