Just wanted to ask if anyone knows of a supplier / store in asia that sells forza badminton rackets? If not, does anyone know the manufacturer of forza and their contact details? Thanks very much for the assist.

well, there's www.prizmsports.com, though i'm afraid the shipping might be atrocious to anywhere in Asia.

Hey Voicecast,

What piqued your interest in the brand? FORZA is not a huge brand to begin with... it's more popular in Europe than anywhere else. Chances are low that they'll have sales representatives in Asia. Try writing to them at their main website to inquire about it.

thanks for the replies guys. what interested me about forza was the comments i came across in the forum. so i wanted to see the racket for myself if it really is as good as some of the people says.

am in yonex country and was wondering if there are other rackets just as good if not better than yonex.

i saw on the internet that there was a forza store in canada but the website was inaccessible. is the store still open?

I was told they were planning to bring in some by feb of 2004. Lets see if they really can get hold of some if its a discontinued line.

Hi, I just checked out the winex store here in manila. Can you give me some info on a Winex Model: TiGrain 1100. Does this have any comparable model in Yonex? Is it in the same class as the Yonex Ti-7 and Ti-10?

What is the comparable model of Winex to the Armortec 700 and 500s? What can you recommend in the winex line that will be comparable to the MP99 of Yonex.

thanks.

Having used a number of Forza racquets, I'd say that if you're into isometric frames in 3U weight, then Forza might be worth considering -- that's the category to which most of their models belong. But only if you can get them chaper than Yonex, which is the case here in Europe. From my experience, Forza are neither better nor worse than Yonex when it comes to playability, quality etc. It's all about what kind of weight, balance, etc you're looking for.

Thanks for the info. I was advised to use the MP99 as it is supposed to be suitable to my style of play. What model would this be comparable to under the Forza brand?

Where is Forza manufactured and what is their contact details if I may ask? How cheap is "cheap"? The going rate for the MP99 is about US$275.00 here in Manila.

Talk to the store owner. As for the Ti Grain 1100, all I know is that the Ti-mesh is not real (it's painted on - that's why Winex differentiate it with Ti Grain) otherwise it would be Ti-mesh. I don't have any additional information on it.

As for Armortec 700 clone, check out this thread http://www.badmintonforum.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=12909

MP99 = Winex MM99 - again, Winex racquet's flex is not as stiff as Yonex's.
