OK BFers. As of Dec 18, here is what I am working on...

(A) Sat Dec 20

(TO BE CONFIRMED, waiting for a cancellation)

Time: 9:30pm - 12midnite
Location: Collingwood Neighbourhood House
Cost: $5 includes feather birds
4 Courts (2 courts for the first 30min)
RSVP Deadline: asap



(B) Mon Dec 29

(TO BE CONFIRMED, based on level of interest from BFers)

Time: Evening (4hrs)
Location: tba (vancouver/Burnaby area)
Cost: $11 includes (possibly tournament grade) feathers
4 Courts
RSVP Deadline: Monday Dec 22 - 0800hrs


I think Dec 29 will be a great opportunity for the Racquet Reps to do their demos,

plus, if they were to bring a few door prizes each, this will greatly enhance

everybody's night!

Yes, the showers/changing room is right beside the gym.

The facility also have a swimming pool & a skating rink, but that is an extra charge, plus you will need to check the schedule.

Regarding FOOD, I have a couple of suggestions;

(1) good Chinese restaurant w/ a pre-set dinner menu (on weekend's the restr is packed w/ Chinese families)

(2) all-you-can-eat Japanese, the food is made when you order, it does not sit on a
rotating belt made 2-hours ago. I need to check if they are open on Mondays.

There will be suggestions from other players, so we can decide later.

It was great to come out and play against a few of you and put a face to a nick. I too wished there was more playing time to mix it up against the others.

For those that tried the Domino racquets, all I had were positive feedbacks. Remember, I'm looking for a rep for them in Vancouver. PM me if interested.

For those that won door prizes, almost all of you had a chance to play against me....sooooooo, that means you have a good chance of winning something if you play against me!!! :D But you will have to face the panhandle power at the net!!

I thought WWCbro and I made a good team.....beating on woodchuck and buddy!! :D

The dinner social was good chatting. Servers there commented on my ying/yang hair dye. Too bad no one took pictures.

Collingwood's Sunday session will start again this weekend Jan 4th, 2004.

Currently, Collingwood's Sunday session is a drop-in session, so unfortunately you will have to sign-up. Typically, if you show-up at 11:45am, there should be spaces available.

If you live in the Bby area, it should not be too much of a commute. I know regular players who come from Coquitlam & Delta areas.

It was a great session, we had one court open in the remaining 45minutes (did someone mention SINGLES?!), but I think most of us had our fill! Too bad 2 players did not make it, otherwise we would have maximized our 2-courts for 3&half hours!
