my friend emailed saying a cab 21 sp needs to be 580 sting included near tai goo...is this the new price or jus the shop is expensive..and also they said ordering is needed..she doesnt have the time... she leaves HK b4 jan...

I think the price at MongKok would not include stringing, so add perhaps 70-100HKD to the Mong Kok price.

and how long does stringing take..perhaps i will string in vancouver...

should take less than a day for a restring, maybe a couple of hours if you are really in a rush.

450 includes the stringing already, it take less than a hour.

That's a very good price then.
