I did a search but couldnt really find anything, so I was just wondering if there are any good retail stores in the bay area that I can get Yonex shoes from? I live in Fremont, so I was trying to see if there is some stores close enough to drive to so I can try on the shoes. (Not exactly sure what model Im going to get, but thats why I have to try them on.) Thanks
Also, Im still growing, so should I get shoes a half size bigger, or will that really affect my game if the size is not perfect?

Good luck to you. I used to live in the Bay Area for 6 years, but never found badminton shoes anywhere. You have to look for shops that are specialized in indoor sports, like squash, racquet ball, or maybe even badminton. Why not try sporting good stores in Asian neighborhoods or order from the Web?

Aren't both Asby and Badminton Alley selling badminton shoes? And Asby is the authorized Yonex dealer.

Yes, Asby and Badmintonalley do sell shoes. If your interested in Yonex shoes, you should check out Asby.

I think it also depends on what car you are driving. Someone says it only takes 4 1/2 hours from SF to LA. It took me 7 hours.:(

Regardless the car, it's more on the driver :-)

Ouch...if you only did that to buy badminton gear. Then that's pretty crazy. If you did it to get one tube of birds, I would say that's hardcore :p But really, if your just buying badminton gear, I think that Asby takes online orders. And as for Badminton Alley, they have an online store.

Anyone know where I can buy midcut (3/4) indoor court shoe? I like to try before I buy, so I can't buy from online shops (otherwise I'd be buying one of the many midcut racquetball/squash shoes online).

Anyone know where I can try out badminton/racquetball/volleyball/squash shoes in the Fremont/Bay Area?

I know about Asby (San Jose) and Badminton Alley (Sunnyvale) but Yonex are a bad fit for me. I also know about Berkeley Sports. No luck with the paltry indoor court selection at Sportsmart, TriCity, and Big 5. Running out of options....:crying:
