I think it's the opposite, ladies who pose for playboy seek a new career move and certain reputation. Case in point, Katarina Witt, an Olympian (gold medal?) figure skater from germany posed for playboy. How do i know, I read the newspaper :D, really.

To me, it's a big deal if my girlfriends post naked on a magazine. Probably that's Asian culture. But when people interviewed Katarina Witt, she said it's nothing at all in Germany. She always went to the beach naked. Since we are not Germans, we really can't judge it using our standard.

I'm not that good with german, but I thought she was going to join the military for extra badminton time, two months of basic training and the rest for badminton.
