I don't think so. Wang Chen is now with the Hong Kong team.

Xie is 179cm (5'10") Bao is 188cm (6'2")

great pictures!!! I do not know many of the players but the photos are still good to look at. The training facilities look good as well is that the main training place for the chinese team?????

that's their "retreat" place in JinJiang. JinJiang is where they regularly go to do month long closed door intensive training.

hm... anybody noticed this.

there are 8 WS singles players, 4 from teamA and 4 from teamB (probably). the teamB are the future of Chinese WS.

however, if you look at the height, teamA players are 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, while the teamB players are 3rd, 6th, 7th, 8th.

does that mean in a few years' time when all the current teamA retires and the current teamB takes over, the top players from China will be shorter than they are now?

Who are 3rd 6th 7th 8th? I think Xie Xingfang is still quite young? 23? How old are the others (apart from gong, Zhou, and Zhang)

3rd Lu Lan (ranking 287), 6th is Zhu Lin (195), 7th Chen Lan Ting (93), 8th Liu Jian (87).

ages unknown, but i would not be surprised if they are all mid to late teens.

when i went to the place where the malaysia team train...they use the squash racket to warm up ....same as the KL team ...their coach ask them to buy a squash racket say it's good for lobbing !!:confused:

so it's not suprise to me to saw the squash racket there :p
