I also wish every Chinese here a happy, healthy and peaceful Lunar New Year.

I can't help thinking about those of you up North who may be experiencing the rather extreme cold weather. In particular, posters from Canada (the Vancouver boys), CA (kwun) and Boston (jwu) (I saw over TV how some parts of the lake is frozen), New York (LazyBuddy), I hope you guys can go out and celebrate. And our friends in Hong Kong (especially Cheung, whom I haven't heard too much from lately and Taneepak), hope good luck and prosperity will prevail and chicken flu eradicated.

This year our government allows selective burning of fire-crackers to drive away the ills and bring back the good luck. There will be changes and I hope they will be positive.

As for me, I will take a flight to Bangkok tomorrow to spend a few CNY days there. I hope to watch the Thai Open for at least an evening, probably tomorrow and revisit the familiar places which I haven't seen for a long time. No golf this time though.
