I had a great and enjoyable game yesterday! One of the best shot i saw yesterday which i haven't seen anywhere is the shot i called Skateboard shot.

As i was giving a tight drop from the baseline , my fren retrieve the shot by giving a crosscourt netshot... to my amazement.. i as just standing there and watch it ( i know i can retrieve it ). The shuttle went up and slide across the net , i mean slide.. like skateboard grinding on the rail. It slides for almost 4 to 5 feet on the net and drop over to my side. What a shot..!!!

haha..

I was thinking maybe someone had done a jump shash, but at the peak of the jump had grabbed his shoe with the non-racquet hand

technically a jump smash shoe grab with 180 rotation :D

4-5 ft? Wow...

I remember I did something like this once, but nowhere close to be 4-5 ft (what a balance). Mine could be like <2 feet, I assume.

Why not summersault once , then turn 180 degrees, then execute a perfect backhand smash straight down the line :D

lol. That is true. Real impressive. The shuttle was spinning on its y-axis alot??? or did the cork touch the net tape and go from there? care to elaborate more? this is kinda interesting!

was it a tail slide or nose slide?
:D

It was sliding from the body. Tail and nose , the feathers play a big part as well.
