Hi Eva

Nice to talk to you, i have read all your articles on the site, very good job :)
I wasnīt on the Thomas Cup team it was only Jonas Rasmussen, Lars Paaske, Martin Lundgaard, Jens Eriksen and the 5th guy they picked were Mathias Boe.

I would really really wanted to be on that team, but i must just fight harder and join them in 2 years, and maybe win the cup then, who knows.....

Looking forward to our future conversations.....

Thomas,

My name is Tom Laybourn. I am an American who really does not care about badmitton... sorry. However, I saw your name. I know little about my family. Most are dead. What do you know of our family name in Europe. Please respond. I have children and I have few stories to tell them of our ansestors. God go with you.

Yes it can be quite streesful at times, but also very nice to control your own time, escpecially in my case where badminton is my first priority.

I can see you are from Malaysia, did you watch the Malaysian Open in Kuantan or maybe seen it on TV?

Malaysia Open was nice to watch. Though the final day was a bit disappointing, not because of the badminton but the dances and stuff. TOOK SO MUCH TIME!! Wanted it to finish so I could go to the cinema to watch Spiderman2. Luckily it did http://www.badmintoncentral.com/vb/images/smilies/cool.gif

Hi Thomas,

I did not watch the matches prior to the final but I followed closely the results via the newspaper. Nevertheless, i watch the finals live on TV. It was a dream result for us in the end cause LCW and CTF/LWW won the MS and MD.

I gather from another thread in your forum that you did well over here. You were in the semi. I am happy for you and i hope that you will win the Mal open in the future. All the best!

If i have been to this forum earlier, say begining of this year and got to know you, i will definitely make an effort to travel from KL to Kuantan to cheer on you! :)

Kamen

I learned to play badmitten in high school and love to play at family picnics... But after watching the Olympics I had NO idea how intense the sport really is. So much for my aunt Yolanda and her bad hip. Good luck in your endevours...love to hear from anyone who's got some good tips about serving.
