Anyone know what's difference between a regular racket and a "tour" racket, if there is any?

Good luck! BoboTheBadder 03-28-2004, 11:49 PM Maybe they should post a guide up to the different versions of a racket. Would be a helpful resource seeing as how lots of people get confused (myself included). forrestyung 03-29-2004, 08:34 AM Thanks Ayi! :D "Tour" is mainly for non-jp verion. In Japan it would be called "Pro". For example - JP/others Iso 800 Pro/Iso 800 Tour Cab 20 Pro/Cab 20 Tour I am not sure that there is Cab 22Tour or not. I only know Cab 22 is same as Cab 20 Power, just the logo is different and Cab 20 Power should not have the JP version. There are some models with Tour and non Tour rackets- Cab 20/Cab 20 Tour Cab 10/Cab 10 Tour Cab 9/Cab 9 Tour Cab 8/Cab 8 Tour Iso 300/Iso Tour 300 Cab 10, Cab 9 and Cab 8 are old rackets with external T-joint. Cab 10 Tour, Cab 9 Tour and Cabr 8 Tour are new rackets with internal T-joint. Cab 20 Tour can generate more power than original Cab 20 (just data from Yonex). Iso 300 is the 1st generation of Iso head shape in Yonex. Iso Tour 300 is small Iso head, just like Iso Tour 800. In my own opinion, the Tour version is a different series rather than an improved version. But there is no data can prove it. Any ideas?? YY Fan?? cooler 03-29-2004, 10:35 AM yeah, i havent came across a cab 22 Tour either. bluejeff 03-29-2004, 11:20 AM I have some Cab20Power (old logo, TW) and some Cab22SP (new logo), but I have not yet seen a tour version of it yet, too. TheGr8One 03-29-2004, 05:38 PM I've seen the Cab 22 Tour at Yo's in Markham, which is why I ask. cappy75 03-29-2004, 05:48 PM I think Wood_22_Chuck mentioned that Lee's Badminton carries CAB22 Tour before I bought my CAB22 from BBEshop. Time to call VP of Yonex, again :) forrestyung 04-01-2004, 12:23 PM Having all YY rackets is my dream, but I think it is hardly to meet it. Maybe I can catch my dream 5 years later. :D In fact that, I really want to develop a book with all YY rackets such as Rolex guide, LV guide. One dealer in TW told me that it is possible to order from Yonex directly. But you must order a large number. For all rackets in the Yonex history.....I would say there should be more than 200 rackets.....and that should be enough as the quantity. Maybe you can try to email Yonex-JP about it. I am pretty sure Yonex save up all the equipments and the models that were used to make rackets. Perhaps they are willing to re-make some especially requested orders. (As watches factories in europe :)) I just called Yonex-USA the other day....but the guy I know wasn't there at the moment....I guess I will have to call later then. :) da ding 04-02-2004, 02:33 AM Just post a picture here and let us to view it.
