I just wanted to know the differences of the two, in overall, which is better, the Pros and Cons of both. I know that Variframe has a aerodynamic shape in the frame like that of a muscle power, but what else does it have significantly? Or what is good about the MegaFrame? Not that I think that both of these Isometric type Racquets are really good, I was just wondering the differences.

~Whoa... this is the first time I've ever heard of VariFrame and MegaFrame. Which company's marketing jargon is this?

Yonex... my first Yonex racquet was a ISO 76VF (VeriFrame).

~oh, so that's what those VF and MF stuff stand for...
Now I know what you're talking about.
Considering the fact that Yonex didn't seem to boast about these two "technologies" all that much (all the attention was directed to Ti-mesh, MP bumps, and now ArmourTec), I guess they are lost causes even at Yonex?

I think the Megaframes were aimed at the low to mid end market. Mostly for newbies and low intermediate players because their selling point is an enlarged sweetspot. There's also a relatively new CAB line out called Durable Frames ( ####DF)... perhaps extra durable frames for the clash-prone newbie players:p.

This is according to Yonex 2003 catalog:
Mega frame: 34% bigger sweetspot for more effective off centre hits compared to conventional racket. Mega frame design stretches the already large sweetspot from standard isometric design to provide greater propulsion from off centre hits.
(in my opinion - bigger racket face for less chance of missing the shuttle! :D)
Vari frame: Combinging the aerodynamic profiles of oval frame head with squared lower frame section for rigidity, the vari frame design offers combined benefits of proven racket design for best balance of speed and control.
(in my opinion - mix the superceded Aerotus design with Carbonex design and sell them as a brand new racket!)
In the 2003 catalog, it is interesting to see that Yonex placed Mega Frame design at the lower end, then Vari Frame, Carbonex, Isometric, Muscle Power and finally Armortec as it's performance ranking. I haven't seen too many Mega Frame here in Oz but plenty of others however.
