Thank God Wong Choong Hann gets some new shirts...I hope he never has to put on that nasty ageing white T-shirt. Everyone knows which one - the one with the blazing colour on the right shoulder (usually yellow) and Proton Eon on the front. Same goes for Chong Ming and Choong Eng...:D

I feel with the calibre and success (relative) of their players, they deserve better sponsorship regarding their attire. Imagine how Wong Choong Hann would look in the latest Yonex gear...I think it would do wonders for his image, and badminton's image as a whole. If he wears another one of those nasty white collared shirts, I will personally send him a new Yonex one :D

yeah. i agree. the other like Chinese and Koreans have a new shirt every other tournament, they must have really low expense for laundry because they get a new shirt and can throw away the old ones.

i do think the new Malaysian shirt is quite smart. but then compared to that early 90s design they had, anything look smart.

PETALING JAYA: National badminton singles player Wong Choong Hann will
be ending his bachelorhood next month.

Choong Hann will be tying the knot with his long time girlfriend Leaw Pik Sim on
June 11.

However, plans for a long honeymoon will probably have to wait for the 28-year-
old Kuala Lumpur lad as he is in contention for a place in the upcoming World Championships in Los Angeles from Aug 15-21.

The southpaw was announced as one of the Malaysian singles qualifiers for the
world meet last night.

Choong Hann reached the semi-finals of the All-England for the first time this
year and he became the first Malaysian singles player to reach the final in the
previous World Championships in Birmingham two years ago.

WOW!!! Anyone who has additional info plz tell...this is quite sudden, even the newspapers didn't mention about it :eek: :p ... ...

His girlfriend is a stewardess working in Singapore Airlines. They know each other through Wong's agent. First occasion when they meet is at the agent's wedding where the agent's wife is working in Singapore Airlines also. However, they still haven't known each other yet. That time the agent already intended to bring Wong and Leaw(WCH gf) together.

Then, another day, the gang went to karaoke. That's the first time Wong talked to Leaw... to be continued...
