Might want to consider Black Knight's 2008QC (http://www.blackknight.ca/eng/e_ba2008.htm). The racquet is 79g (5U), and has decent power (mostly because it can get a very fast swing speed). Don't know whether you can get that from Singapore though.

But don't know if can buy in HK or Singapore...

I think the Prince TT Warrior is also 79g. My friend has one and he says its light and powerful. Check it out :)

the sl-70 is not a bad racket. its quite manuverable because if its weight and it does produce decent amount of power.

One thing to watch out for with the Karakal racquets is that although the Karakal racquets are standard length (66cm, I think), they have an extra short handle. If you're used to gripping your racquet at different places, it'll take some time to get used to it.

Strange , since he needs 5U rackets, why didn;t anyone mentioned ashaway rackets? Most of their rackets are very light, i know one that is 75 g.

If u really want light rackets, ashaway should suit you.:D

I would think lighter rackets are known more to be flexible rather than stiff for Yonex anyway, is this the case for other brands?

Generally the stiffer the racket the more it weighs and if a light racket was stiff would it not be more prone to breakage?

mmm...this is a bit obvious, but why don't you go to racquet shops and try them out? Unless your doing mail order or internet order, where u can't touch the racquets..... :confused:

Because the shop which i usually goes onli sells yonex and proace and apacs and gosen. and oso limited models. so i never really get to touch other rackets. anyway, i also need to know where to buy karakal and those other rare names.. and also, karakal SL70 is too expensive. it cost around $170?

ah....you didn't say that before...never minds....i've used SOTX and Winex, both these should be cheaper than Yonex, and sell some light models. I've not had any durability problems with these two, so give them a look if u can.

pro ace ti dream should be light enough and maybe u can get it for around $90

Thanks for all ur comments. but i tink i will still stick to ProAce Sweetspot 2000(5U) for a while more... i have ordered it. and probably will get another racket in near future as a spare 1. karakal seems good. probably will get it if i got enough money... sintec rackets spoils easily don't they? i saw 2 new sintec rackets(less than 2 months) crack when jus hit lightly and when the string broke, it folds & crack. so i kind of.. dun feel safe buying it. Btw, i am a big sized guy trained mostly in singles. but i like light rackets as it gives me more control and power.
i feel that heavy rackets(even muscle power) don't give me as much power as light 1.

OMG!!! Now they tell me cannot find my proace sweetspot! i guess i have to find others already... other then sintec, is there any other light and good rackets under $100? pls help. thanks.
