ACT Badminton Association Promotion day
The Australian Capital Territory Badminton Association will host a promotion day on Saturday 1st May 2004 between 11:30 am and 2pm
at the University of Canberra Recreation Centre Building number 4, Allawoona Street, Bruce.
Activities on the day will be
· There will be a racquet demonstration and trial stand, featuring some of latest Yonex racquets as used by national and international players.
· There will be a BBQ with refreshments provided.
· There will be a come and try it court for new players, beginners and juniors.
· There will be basic coaching session for new players, beginners and juniors
· There will be a racquet restring display, and racquets can be restrung for a fee
· There will be a Club stand, with information on badminton clubs in Canberra.
· There will be an ACT Badminton Association display, with information on the Association, the Australia National body - Badminton Australia and the International body - the International Badminton Federation . Badminton videos that are available for loan from the
association library for members will be on display"
