Or better yet are you competing?? slyinottawa 05-04-2004, 07:19 AM Too old and slow to play with those guys anymore and definitely too far to go watch!! But good luck to everyone, especially the Ottawa crew. BTW, the draws are up on the Badminton Canada and Badminton Alberta websites. Sly jamesd20 05-04-2004, 10:06 AM Whats the website for the draw? I also ask any BFers Competing? We can give some telepathic support to you! herovc 05-04-2004, 10:25 AM Whats the website for the draw? I also ask any BFers Competing? We can give some telepathic support to you! Hi all, Here's the link: http://www.badminton.ca/eng/results/03-04/g-prix/5cdn.shtml vc :) slyinottawa 05-04-2004, 01:53 PM Also here which more likely would be updated I would think: http://www.alltournaments.co.uk/sport/draws.asp?id=4929 Sly jamesd20 05-04-2004, 02:01 PM So is there anybody from BF there?! other 05-04-2004, 02:22 PM at least there is a "consolation" draw:) timeless 05-08-2004, 04:47 PM 2 guys from my ole training group competed. I heard they had a lot fun. slyinottawa 05-08-2004, 05:52 PM Results for first four events: Stefan over Beres (congrats Stef on your first national title, too bad it wasn't in doubles while bringing me along for the ride!) :) Rice over Patrick Milroy/Chan over Laforest/Prevoe Julien/Cloutier overFelx/Loker Mixed to come. cooler 05-08-2004, 07:46 PM milroy/sun over julien/bourret in 2 games cooler 05-08-2004, 07:54 PM Results for first four events: Stefan over Beres (congrats Stef on your first national title, too bad it wasn't in doubles while bringing me along for the ride!) :) Rice over Patrick Milroy/Chan over Laforest/Prevoe Julien/Cloutier overFelx/Loker Mixed to come. Did stefan played the MD event? I only watched matches from semi and up. slyinottawa 05-09-2004, 08:05 AM No, I'm sure he got tired of smashing his arm off playing with me, so he hasn't played any doubles in tournaments for the last couple of years after I "quit". I think it's good that our "singles" players are focusing on that and nothing else. slyinottawa 05-09-2004, 08:06 AM Sorry cooler I half misunderstood your question. What I meant was him winning a national title in previous years and bringing me along for the ride. Not this year. Kelvin 05-09-2004, 03:48 PM Congrats to all the competitors at the Canadian Nationals. Especially to those who came across the country to compete, and also to the winners of the events. Even though I didn't get to see all the matches :p I do want to say that it's great to see that the level of play is indeed going up... a tribute to those who are helping Canada develop our youths, and young peoples. Great job!!! -Kelvin Hugo 05-17-2004, 07:28 PM Hmm, seems like some of the young, "up-n-coming" players performed well! Great job to all participants and especially any from BF! Too bad I could not go and watch it as it was held so close (in Calgary). |
