I was bore, searching any site that has badminton related material and found some video clips of various of recent tournament at www.worldbadminton.com. I was watching the swiss lady final and my jaw just drop. Check it out if you haven't

Pi Hong Yan not bad. Too bad most of you never saw

Wu Di Xi and Li ling Wei,some sports journalists described

more as participants in a beauty contest.They had silky skills

to match,and both were world champions in singles and

doubles.

I know a lot of people think Gong Zhichao is very cute. My idea of beauties though are Ye Zhaoying, Ge Fei and Chung Jae Hee (all gone now).

Sure GZC is cute. After all, she looks like Tweety Bird. Don't ask me where i got this idea from, otherwise, i may have to ask birdbrain to exchange nics with me.

You mean that you are going to play the vedio tape while you driving OR willing to exchange your coralla for the Swiss open final tape (as the big bucks) ?

If your corolla still runable, it would not be a used car, it is an old car, or antique car. If not runable, could be negative value.

Back to the topic, badminton can really shape ladies' body. Wu Di Xi was definitely one of the best. Li Lin Wei's gained to much weight now. Amony the current active players, Zhou Mi, Camilla Martin and Kelly Morgan are all fully qualified to be cover girls. I like watching ladies' playing! Gong Zhi Chao is cute but looks like a kid too much.

1978 T. Corolla....... implication is .......he could not afford a newer car esp. in the context of S'pore (where approx .90% of all cars on the road are less than 10 yrs. old).
I haven't seen Wu Di Xi.... so not in a position to compare her with players of a later era.

Apart from those you've mentioned, the other good-looking ladies I've seen include Gong Ruina, Dai Yun & Huang Hua....... Yonekura has charisma.(have personally seen her at close range) .These are just my taste (which ,of course, differ from person to person.).

seriously, some of the 80's players like LiLing Wei, WuDi Xi

and Gu jian Ming made the game look effortless with their

could do just as well in rhytimic gymnastics.

I agreed Bbn, those are the men and ladies singles badminton i enjoyed the most, when they play like olympic gymnasts, ie, things i cannot do ;) The only one that i saw alive who can do these things is the ex-canadian #1 wang wan who immigranted to canada in 1989. He is only 5' 6" and bounce around the court like a rabbit. There is lots of incredible stories about this guy and some were posted earlier in BC, somewhere. I miss those badminton nowadays.

I dun think i was. i was a bookworm as a chil who didn't like tv. i still am a bookworm:(. it juz so happened dat a friend brought a tweety bird stuffed toy to skool today.

We used to have this sprawling Warner Bros store at Orchard Road which has since closed down. I think business was bad because everything was priced so expensively. But they had a huge screen which showed crazy Tweety Bird cartoons and this spaceship for Marvin the Martian, which little kids can climb into (my friend and I went in at the ripe old age of 14 and were chased out by the salesgirl).
