hahaha...take it as i wan to knoe then...well i'm actually suspecting that many of u here are not local s'poreans.i'm even more curious when i see u in one of post that u have great difficulties in ur math and science...like it seems that u 're a foreigner attending in sec sch..i'm 20yrs old student studying in polytechnic here.i used to play competitve badminton,just one to get to more badminton passionate here and ya...that's what i can say...by the way,Don,there no pride beating a gal in the court or someone like u who can give such a comment....

LOL, I think u should be asking Adel, not me. I dun really have gr8 difficulties with my studies, juz mother tongue, i wasn't born here though, moved here when i was a few months old from KL. And I'm dun support Malaysia, nor any other country. most of the time any way. btw, i take it u dun surf often??? cos u dun use netspeak.

I also dun have great difficulties with my studies though I have difficulties in trying to study. No discipline.

Anyway Terence, I was born and bred in this clean and green city. You're right to say that a lot of the S'pore dwellers here aren't Singaporeans. Yudhi and Pebulutangkis are students from Indonesia, Byro-Nenium is S'porean but spent pretty much of his life in Indonesia. There was another girl, Kelly. I think she also has some "ties" with Malaysia. That's about all I know.

Depends on which schools you are talking about, Byro.

That's why I'm suggesting some tried and tested methods of study that have worked on almost everyone I know. Me included.

Once you get a good habit going, its a whole lot easier to follow through in the years to come especially if your foundations in subjects like mathematics, English and physics are good. They allow you to get through almost any course in University with exception of Medicine and maybe more obscure/ less mainstream stuff like Biology and Chemical science.

I learnt the hard way, figuring it out myself. I sure don't want others to commit the same mistakes.
