I can't seem to find this information anywhere...so is the new scoring system best of 5 games with each game played to 9 points or 7 points?

Also, how many of you have really switched to this new scoring system? We for one at my badminton club still prefer to play until 15 :)

It will now in the next period change in many competitions around the world to 5x7. It´s 7 not 9.. and if the game is 6-6 you choose one or two. then you´ll play to 7 or 8. We in Finland will use this system in every tournament we have!! Try now in summer to get used to it!

In skool, we play the 5X7, though it usually becomes 3X7. hehe.

I really HATE the IBF for doing this. They have no idea what its doing to the game. In my opinion, i reckon that they should change the IBF commitee.
