I think these two players should be dropped, they have made too many excuses already. Park Joo Bong should put his foot down and say "I've had enough, better off with young players who are spirited and eager to win than two losers who does not learn from their past mistakes". I truly sympathise with the 2 Malaysian girls Ang Li Peng-Lim Pek Siah as they really played their hearts out to beat the more fancied Japs, Choong & Lee ruined everything. Either the keep their mouths shut and train harder or out they go.
I don't quite agree with you, I think players should be given another chance. Let them prove themselves at the WC. Coach should help them get over this episode, so they can be fully committed to WC.
I don't agree with that. I had seen them play many times on court since their international debut in usa in 1995. Since then i had personally seen them play in a few international competition in HK, Japan. No matter whether on court or off court, they have such a bad and arrogant attitude. As a malaysian who live oversea, I can't understand why BAM still put up them. And most of all, they don't keep their big mouth shut and improve their fitness and skill.
I agree with you, read this:

I think we need new blood. I heard, from inside source, that for boys we are grooming 16 pairs at the moment, and they are all aged between 13-17. About 60 girls were also identified in last years inter-state/school competitions, all 11-15. the number of singles was unclear, but the number is quite large, and they have also identified potential candidates for mix as well.

I was quite suprise to hear Choong and Lee lost to the Japanese. They did so well in the early round but that doesn't seems to last long. I wonder how they will fared in the coming World Championship if they don't change their attitude and their way of playing ???
If they repeat as what they didi in Ipoh Master I strongly believe they can produce some results.
I think it is about time that Choong and Lee be given brain wash. Park Joo-bong had spent so much time to train and guide them but they don't seem to do something to repay him. Park is a very experience player. Just look at the newly forge men's double (Chan and Chew). They are inexperience but they show they can play like an experience and top players.
I felt so sorry to the Malaysian womens' doubles. They played through their heart even though Malaysia had lost to German in close ties.
Malaysia Boleh !!!
Thanks for your refreshing views, despite all that happened. Lets wish the Malaysian Contingent all the best in the World Champioships, that is what everyone is here for in the first place.
Fully agree.
malaysian boleh !!

Choong is unhappy about Lee's lack of training and preparation.
Choong now is going through what Cheah soon Kit felt during their partnership. Choong did not have enough fitness then to keep up with full International competitive matches.
Oh well, JB Park has already given them a "Shape Up or Ship Out" order. He's evidently pissed., and not surprisingly too.

Well let us all pray that they don't humiliate or fail to live up the expectation of Malaysia in the WC.
Malaysia Boleh !!!
