I am just wonder which one of them does a better stringing job? Also, do they do stringing if you use your own string instead of buying string from them?

Bintang charges $10 if you have your own string. Some folks told me Badmintonalley does string better, but they charge higher.

Do you know how much Badminton Alley charges for BG65 + labor?
If you buy expensive rackets from them (like MP99), do they string it for free?

i haven't ever had Badminton alley stringing, but i haven't heard great reviews from them.... i once saw someone buy a racket at badminton alley, get the free stringing, then bring it to asby because they dind't like the stringing from them.

the bin tang stringing is not too bad if you keep it at lower tensions, but at 26 and up, i feel their job isn't the greatest, maybe its just because they arne't proffesional stringers. They lose tension a little too quickly, though its like only about 40-50% of the time. sometimes it last though.

my personal prefernce is asby though. i always go to them if im stringing higher than 25 lbs. I have had good experiences with them. I like their stringing a lot, keeps tension well, and feels like the tension i asked for. I'm somewhat biased though because my friends work their :p . Still, they're stringing feels better by a good ammount i think. Cost more than Bin Tang though, and about the same as BA.

One of my other favorite stringers is Mr. Lok though. :)

I've gotten 3 rackets from him and the strings on them felt awesome, even after over seas shipping....

bintang and badminton alley both use a different technique for stringing, but i never noticed a difference between them. i have strung my armortec700 from both of them once at bg-65TI @ 22 lbs, and i never found out any of the differnce.

The stringer from asby told me once he is certified, and of course you have to pay 5 to 10 dollars more. :o

Just wanted to chime in to say I've had one job apiece done at BA and Bintang. The racket strung at Bintang is quite satisfactory, but the one from BA--although it may just be a poor quality racket--the head collapsed after stringing at only 22lbs. and playing for a few hours (no clashes or drops to the ground)

the BA stringer is certified too ;)

imm going to buy an at800 df soon, from bintang, so once again ill try its stringing.

BTW, I haven't had any rackets strung by either Bintang or BadmintonAlley. If I broke the string(s), I went to "RacketSupply.com" at Saratoga. So far, they did satisfactory jobs.
