Playing singles

Hi Jonas,

We know you are a *cough 'pretty good' doubles player already :D but do you ever play singles? either during practices or just socially? it seems that most professional players play either singles or doubles exclusively.

Do you still play badminton with your normal friends and family socially?

Hi Wizbit!

I used to play all three categories when I was a junior. At about an age of 16 I had some severe backinjury and had to choose what to play.

I don´t play with my family as they live in a different part of Denmark and it would be too much badminton if was to play socially. I relax when I visit my parents. My father is an eager badmintonplayer and he sometimes play twice a day. He also plays a lot of tennis.

In the international badminton arena you have to play either singles or mensdoubles and mixdoubles because it´s too hard to play both singles and doubles. You also move completely different in singles compared to mensdoubles.
