Thanks to Mr Goh for the welcoming invitation. Unfortunately I can't play on weekends afternoon. But you are also welcome to join us if we can successfully form a regular group of players.

I would like to try to book a court at Delta Sport Complex next week. Their weekly booking system opens on Tue morning for booking from Wed to the following Tue.

Please copy the list below when replying and insert your name, the day and the time you can join for the week from next Wed (30/06) to the following Tue (06/07). Then from there we can consolidate and choose the best day and time that meet most people availability. Everyone will then have to agree and confirm again before I proceed with the booking. Please be responsible to turn up if you have confirmed to join.

The list shall be closed and finalised on Mon(28/06). Ideally we should try to have between 4 to 6 players for a court.

Its ok bbgg458. If you decide to join us next time, just leave you name and time here. I wish I have the chance to play 3 times a week like you. I twisted my right ankle a year ago and had stopped playing since then. The fear of repeating it is still with me. :(

Now I wonder do I need to re-string my racquets. :confused: Or is my shoes still in in one piece. Perhaps it could have been digested by rats long time ago. :D

At this moment I can't confirm the court yet. Only tsystem has responded positively. I need at least 2 more confirmed players before I proceed to book a court. The court fee is $7.40 per hour at peak hours and $3.50 for non-peak (only 7am-6pm weekdays).

And btw the courts are very difficult to get. Based on my past experience, its always less then 50% chances of getting one for the desired time and day. Thats why we need those interested to specify a few alternate days they can play so we have better chances of getting a court.

i think most of us forgot to check back here (like me). i only check my email regularly. i visit these forums only when im free during work, which is v.seldom.

by the way, sorry for not replying (yea.. i was one of the few which did not sms you:o ). im still free on weekdays after 7pm. delta seems kinda far from my house, and since we're playing until so late, distance might pose as a potential burden(i have yet to collect my driver's license), esp since im working kinda early (9.30am, and i usually sleep long hours:p )

Oooh no, really enjoyed the game. Just that I feel that i'm sorta like a burden to whoever partner's me. My playing skill level too newbieish. kinda disappointed in myself. Gotta improve on my basic fundamental strokes and footwork. My fitness level way too low - have been slacking for 3-4years without any excersise.... picking up jogging now just for badminton!! :D

The group there's great! All really friendly people. All with the same passion for badminton. Hope that i'll be able to improve till i'm able to play without being a burden to anyone :)

Hi, anyone still playing in Delta on weekdays? I just found out that the Delta Sports Hall is sooooo near to my house. :D :D :D But this morning, I found that it was really hard to book a court there. The courts are taken up so soon.
