I just came back from the gym not too long ago. The gym was closed today due to the events of special olympics. However, this event was not on the schedule nor announced ahead, and so, people went there today were like idiots. This is totally wasting our time and money, and I wasn't happy about this:mad: .
So, I went home, and filed some complains about this to the school and whoever is charge of this. Since this happens a lot lately (un-schedule events), and is making people's life hard, I know I have to say something about it.
About a hour later I got a response back from the director of recreational sports. That dude told me, the lady in charge of the scheduling has been in hospital since the early of May due to severe sickness and will not be back until the middle of the July. They are aware of the problem, but unable to have someone to work on it due to the heavy load of work.
What an terrible excuse this is! If they already knew the lady will not come back in a short amount of time, they should have find someone to work as a substitue. Or at least, have someone to help out a little. A gym without an up-to-date scheduling is very un-responsible because no one now, will know if the gym is open or what. Plus, this makes the website becomes totally useless since it's not up-to-date.
Anyone have any experience like this?
