Hello Everyone,

My name is Linda and I am new to the sport of Badminton and I LOVE IT :p
However, I would like to improve my game and perhaps begin to go to tournments. But I live in the middle of nowhere so I do not know how to get a badminton coach. I am willing to travel to New York or Canada. If anyone has any suggestions please feel free to email me or reply.

Thanks so much.

Linda

Along with asking on this site you should also be able to phone the US badminton association and ask them for a list of approved coaches in your local area. Failing this ask in the local sports centres there is bound to be a club near to you, unless you really are in the middle of nowhere. :(

Make sure you come back to this place and join our daily talks :)
You will learn a lot by knowing the techniques, rules, equipments, footworks....etc from here.
Also, watch some tournaments on TV would also help. (if you have the dish system to the TV)
