if the last olympics is a good gauge of the NBC's style of coverage, then it will be snippets of each sports all interleaved with one and other. so there will be a few minutes of badminton, then a few minutes of sports A, and then a few minutes of sports B, then then a few minutes of badminton again.

:(

Damn, we have Bravo in Canada, but it's not the same station. Now need to figure out the schedules for Canadian TV.

but nbc wanna highlight a theme sport this year, badminton.
Last one was curling which was very successful.
I doubt nbc would have the same coverage as last time for a show that they want to showcase

Yeah, it's in my cable package :)
You can subscribe to the cable service for like a month and take it off after the olympics if you want to ;)

I think nothing scheduled are listed in CBC or TSN.
Best to email them directly to express your displeasure with them

well, what i mean is that i live in canada and i have all the NBC networks on cable

-NBC (CHANNEL 16)
-CNBC (Channel 38)
-BRAVO (Channel fourty-something)
-MSNBC (Not sure the channel, but pretty sure i have it).

so, with these channels, can i use the schedule posted of NBC to watch badminton? will the schedule correspond with my channel? so, in another words, are the broadcasts on US NBC going to be the same as what i will get on my TV?

You should be able to get NBC in Canada but the other channels, especially BRAVO aren't quite the same. For example, BRAVO in the States is different from BRAVO in Canada and I believe it is the same for CNBC too. Bell Expressvu has grouped all the channels showing olympics coverage together and there is no BRAVO or CNBC. So in the case of Canada, most of us will miss the badminton coverage unless you can somehow manage to get the US coverage (via DirectTV or Dish Network).
