I have read here that the

APACS PowerConcept series is clone of the Yonex MP series...
APACS AMORPOWER series is clone of the Yonex Armortec Series...

Then what about the APACS AMORMUSCLE series? Seems that it is the highest price racket in the APACS list...

i just bought 2 APACS racket, ArmorPower 600 and PowerConcept 998. both also clone yonex.

the AP600 is prefectly fit me, but the PC998 i nit time to use to it, cos it is a offence racket. PC998 too stiff for me :p

How do u cat. which is offensive or defensive? i cant tell much difference unless theres the "offensive" or "defensive" word printed on it. well, u gona defend and attack alot in a game, so i guess PC1080 is a neutral one.
put it this way, if a player thinks himself as a offensive player, does it mean that hes gona get screwed pretty often if he got attacked apon?

i bought it at a racket shop call Sports Master, locate at Jalan Mega Mendung just behind OUG Plaza.

it is a package of buy 1 free 1 promotion, i choose PC998 and AP600. the price i bought include string, grip and a big bag which allow u to bring up to 12 rackets. it cost me RM200.

PC998
Brand: APACS
Length: 670mm
weigh: 3U
Max lbs: 30lbs
Flexibility: stiff
grip: 2G

PC998 is a very good offensive racket, allow u to play powerful smash and good control. i can say that this racket more suitable for singel games, cos i find it hard to drop and play infront of the net.

as i know APACS is one of the brand in the market now that allow u string up to 30lbs. it has a very good quality frame, it wont break easily. cheap as well :D

i dun think every model from APACS is clone of Yonex.

ArmorPower clone of Armortec
PowerConcept clone of MusclePower

other than these 2, i think is APACS own design.

I had a apacs AM series (apacs armormuscle 09) its the latest, quite similar to yonex at500. Its feel is good, i find it having a small diff between at500 n am09, at500 is longer bit more than am09 and the stiffness is different. AM series should be the most expensive type in market now. Its juz came out i guess.

I was planning to buy some racquets on eBay, but was conned into losing my money. Now my only option is to buy one APACS racquet.

I'm looking for something similar to an AT500, AT700 or a MP99.

From what I've gathered, the following are equivalents:

AT500 = AM09
AT700 = AP800
MP99 = ??

I am living in Adelaide, Australia, and was wondering if anyone knew the prices of these racquets (in AUD$) in their home town, with any links to their sports store (to see if its alright to buy online - I recall reading a post about some promotion on APACS).

Thanks in advance

badmintonsupplies over here sells them FAIRLY cheap (as compared to most of Australia), because they're a badminton club too. But I'm sure that overseas would even be cheaper, and was just wondering if there are any links that I could go to, or if the promotion (buy one get one free) offer is still available.

Is PC998 still available in the market? PC stands for power concept....clone of Yonex's Muscle Power.

I am quite sure the grade of the graphite they used will definitely be different.

I have brand new one 2007 apacs nano 555 speed 4UG2. Not bad at all. Tension can go high till 30 lbs. Nice control and good power. But the important is only RM99 include string n grip. Not too regret when it broken of clash with your partner in double. Can buy another next day. Hahahaha....
