Thanks. g2k 06-14-2001, 02:51 AM hope this helps. Matt 06-17-2001, 09:11 AM Well I live in Bellevue, but I go play open gym Badminton at BCC. You could also register to be in classes if you want to there too. There is a badminton club in Renton but I do not have any information about them. Matt Quan 06-17-2001, 01:03 PM When is the open gym? Matt 06-17-2001, 01:12 PM Well it's over for now at BCC. Wait until the fall quarter. If you are a student at BCC, go the student services building for more information. I am in a mailing list at BCC, so I get all the times when the open gym will occur. Pandaklr 04-30-2006, 02:22 PM I recently moved to Kitsap County which is fairly close to Seattle, but I was hopeing to not have to drive 2 hours to play. Is there anyone else in the Kitsap region? clinton 05-01-2006, 03:28 PM Don't know if anyone plays at Kitsap county. List of places to play in WA: http://www.northwestbadminton.org/washington.php Pandaklr 05-01-2006, 07:27 PM There seems to be lots of clubs in the seatlle area, but I would hope there is someone in Kitsap or somewhere that doesn't require a ferry ride to play with. Any recommendations for seattle clubs if I have to go there that are active, and willing to except new members? clinton 05-03-2006, 01:39 PM Most of clubs are drop-in base like Highline and north sea-tac. Highline would be a good one to try and Steve'll setup matches for you if you ask. Bellevue Badminton Club is the only dedicated facility, they have guest drop-in also (not cheap). Pandaklr 05-04-2006, 10:03 PM I appreciate the information on who to talk to. Finding a place to play that won't cost a arm and a leg is a great help. serve 06-22-2007, 12:57 AM I posted a similar reply to another thread, but I just saw this thread now. We are thinking of reviving badminton in Federal Way at the new community center. Saturdays 9-11:30am, Mondays 4:30-9:30pm. They allow walk-ins. I'm not connected with the Community Center,( just an avid badminton player) but I thought I'd help spread the word! Cheers! |
