Badminton Singapore has been very active this year, having thus far been involved in 15 events at National school, community/constituency, National Junior and Age Group levels.
Three other major tournaments organized by the SBA will be held before the year is out:
Cheers Asian Satellite Badminton Championships
Sep 6 - 12 (Free Admission)
Up-and-coming young players from HK, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and even Estonia will be participating. Yeoh Kay Bin from Malaysia is seeded 1 so are compatriots Kuan Beng Hong (3/4), Yogendran (5/8) and James Chua and other Malaysians in the men's singles. Tommy Sugiarto from Indonesia will also be competing.
Singapore Open 2004 (Normally a 5 star IBF event)
Nov 15 - 21
I'm sure many of the world's best players will participate.
Singapore Youth International 2004
Dec 16 - 22
All of you are welcome to watch these matches if you happen to make a trip to the Far East. :)
