Maybe my eyes are deceiving me, but I don't see Chen Hong or Chen Yu in the draw. Anyone knows why they withdrew from the tournament?

The malaysians aren't in the draw because the badminton association of malaysia has banned their national players from playing these major tournaments for 2 months. The Hong Kong open has been cancelled so they will only have 4 major tournaments left to get valuable ranking points for the world champs qualification next year.

Pretty stupid decision by the BAM. Why did they ban their national players?:confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:
