M2006 Sport Competition Managers

Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games require Competition Managers to plan and manage specific sporting competitions. Positions are currently available in the following sports:
Badminton
Basketball
Boxing
Cycling
Hockey
Lawn Bowls
Rugby 7s
Table Tennis

The Competition Manager for each sport will prepare a comprehensive delivery plan, in accordance with national and international sporting regulations. Project manage the delivery of the competition, ensuring milestone deliverables are
achieved on time and to budget. Liaise with key IF delegates and NSOs; so collaborative skills and leadership abilities will be essential. Each candidate will need to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and experience in sport event
management and delivery, at both strategic and operational levels.
