Big win for Thomas Laybourn and Kamilla Rytter Juhl, they beat Xie Zhongbo/Zhang Yawen in three sets in the second round!

Danish mixed doubles pairs seem to all be on big form...

Lin Dan and Xia Xuanze in the semis, it looks like we might get a remake/revenge (?) of Denmark Open final...

Japanese men seem to be on good form currently too...

It's surprised for PALYAMA Dicky to beat NG Wei while he lost the first match with the poor score 2-15. Good for the Dutchman!

Also surprised at ARCHER Simon/BLAIR Robert lost to japan temporary pairs SATO Shoji/SASAKI Sho(15:10/11:15/6:15), maybe they are too tired.

well, they are not 'temporary' pair, strictly speaking, they were playing at major international competitions as single players mainly, though. (they were playing MD with other Japanese players at small international competitions, by the way)

The site is slow some times. And I was wondering the same thing too.. I thought I saw both Chen Hong and Chen Yu in the draw??

They now have livescores on Peter Steffensen / Lena Frier against Bergström / Persson.

As far as I know Steffensen / Frier was beaten yesterday against Carsten Mogensen / Rikke Olsen.

Does anybody know what happens?

This also puzzled me!!!
yesterday, the score show Carsten/Rikke win the match, but marked "ret." in "Carsten/Rikke ".

On the resultpage they have corrected it to Mogensen / Olsen, but it is still wrong on the livescore page.

Look like Xia and Lin Dan are buddies and knew what he should do in order not to be a "light bulb". :)

Well, well, Carsten Mogensen bags two titles at once! Although little sooner than I'd have thought, it was really just a question of when, not if. As I've said before, Carsten is without doubt the most promising Danish doubles player in a looong time.

Good job! :D

In Denmark Open Rikke played mixed with Jonas.

Now a week later she and Carsten win German Open together!

1 week!!! Amazing!

Granted, some of the best payers did not participate, but Chen Qiqiu and Zhao Tingting are number three in the world.

Cheers!

And I am looking forward for tomorrow evening, where Rikke Olsens club Værløse are going to play against KBK Copenhagen. The mixeddouble will propably be Rikke Olsen / Thomas Laybourn against Nicola Riis / Lars Paaske - worldclass. And in 2. mix there will be players as Kamilla Juhl, Lena Frier and Simon Mollyhus.
So if you are in the neighbourhood...
