Today, was a very sad day. My coach is a racket tester (paid to test), and he noticed my MP 99 had a lot of flex. It looked EXACTLY like the real one. He did a test where he took a real 99 and put racket face on the table and handle sticking out. He pushed handle down and made it vibrate. The real one vibrated for roughly 15 seconds. Mine... 5. Very sad. My 200 dollar MP.... is fake..... :crying: !

Well, as you see on top of the page, it is already page 2, which means there is a page 1 before (as this doc is provided elsewhere). I don't think this is too hard to understand.

Those points are already no longer valid as many High quality fakes all pass those points checking. ;) Now we have some other tech points to check out.

It would be nice to have a BJ's Lab for checking Fakes, but I am just too lazy to do that :p

What is important is the serial number and the manufacturing code, if that complies with the graph from the thread "post your yonex serial numbers here" thread then it should be real (but not definite.) check all the other methods as well.

Where the sticker is on the racket is immaterial to the actual racket.

Interesting test. I think Yonex should put a chart in their web site to list out the vibration duration of each model. This kind of test is really hard for the fake racquet manufacturer to copy.

This test relies on the inner structure of the racket. Especially the inner hollowness.
