oh, i should have said was he from calgary? We like to fiddle with the feather shuttle a lot especially during the game :)

fiddling: is it because you guys have never seen a feather birdie before? :)

it is just that 73 speed feather shuttles are more fragile than say 77 or 78.
We have to straight out the feather fuzz more often.
Some techniques i saw been used by calgarian.
- blowing moist breath onto birdie to keep them hydrates between rallies.
- swipe or rub feather shuttle across sweaty forearm, forehead, and neck to re-hydrate the bird.

btw, calgarians hold the patent on delay tactic #293 :)

I used 75 yesterday at a gym, and they worked fine... got them right between the two lines every time perfectly yesterday.

oh and yeah... we stop to adjust the feathers a lot up here, unless some idiot knocks a feather off the shuttle on the first shot.
