Be realistic! Denmark or Great Britain would be much closer.

On the serious side... sometimes you'll find that you have to play with weaker players. If this is the case, then try to play without using your smash. This forces you to develop the rest of your game. It should really help with you placement and with touch shots. Also work on your deception.

If you play with older or stronger players, see if you can get them to help you with your game or your strokes. Ask them to do drills with you. This should help you to get up to their level.

You might try 2-on-1 games. I play this using singles serves for both teams. After the service then the doubles team must cover the whole court. If you want a real challenge then the single player can also try to cover the doubles court. When I play as the single player, I take only one service hand but let the doubles team each have turns taking serves (just as if they were playing doubles). You can vary these rules to suit the playing ability of the participants.

Do you know any tennis players that are pretty good? Tell them that badminton can really help them with conditioning, reaction time & quickness. It can help especially with volleys and overheads (badminton players get to hit a lot more overheads than tennis players cuz of the height of the net). Stay away from tennis players that are just learning. Badminton can mess up their groundstrokes if they are not yet very consistent players.

Hope this helps.
